Staci Sengewalt, PT

Physical Therapist

I was born and raised in Wheeling, WV. I went to Physical Therapy School at WVU. After graduation, I moved to Washington, DC and worked at a large inpatient rehab facility gaining a variety of experience working on specialized stroke, brain injury, orthopedic, and cardiac units. After spending 4 years in DC, I decided to move to Pittsburgh to be closer to family. In Pittsburgh, I worked at another large rehab facility specializing in stroke and brain jury rehabilitation. Then, after starting my family, my husband and I decided to move back to Wheeling. I have past experience working in neuro rehabilitation. NDT (neuro developmental technique) credentialed therapist.

I have a strong foundation of family and faith that drive me in all that I do.

“Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.” -The Dalai Lama

I evaluate and treat patients with a variety of diagnoses. I am certified in dry needling and the neurodevelopmental technique (NDT).
I want to help patients with the little things we sometimes take for granted like going for a walk, doing your hair, or sleeping. These are things that can be greatly impacted by pain or injury. The thing I most love about being a physical therapist is helping people address their pain, weakness, or limited movement to return to doing the things they love. I enjoy working with a variety of diagnoses, but especially love working with patients with neurological issues and patients after joint replacements.
Crossroads Physical Therapy has the best team of therapists! We are truly like a family and work together to provide the optimal care for our patients!

What’s Staci Reading, Listening To, or Watching?

It all depends on the mood I’m in. I love to binge on a good series like Yellowstone or Game of Thrones, but if I’m looking for something light I love The Office and Schitts Creek. For books, I loved Atomic Habits, American Dirt, and Where the Crawdad’s sing.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 3 children. When not running between dance, baseball, hockey and karate practices with my kids, I enjoy reading, yoga and traveling.
